We have worked hard the past few years to bring members the most up to date and accurate information about OTS and the OTS application process as possible. Our administrators and moderators take care of the operation of the site and are a wealth of knowledge and experience. The Senior Members have been specially selected to answer questions in their field or in appropriate stages of the OTS process.Check out the FAQ's. Please feel free to search, read, ask questions and help others out.

Holm Center for Officer Accessions and Citizen Development - the parent organization of Air Force OTS, ROTC, JROTC, and Civil Air Patrol. More importantly, she was the first woman to become an Air Force general, and the first woman to become a two-star general in any of the US military branches. She passed away on February 15, 2010."

Air Force News: Air Force: Test missile misses its Pacific target

| sweetmusicj writes "VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Air Force says a missile-intercept test failed when a long-range missile launched from California missed a target missile launched from a Pacific island because of radar problems.
A statement posted on the Vandenberg Air Force Base Web site says the target missile was launched from the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands on Sunday at about 3:40 p.m. and the long-range interceptor missile was launched from California's central coast shortly after.
The statement says both missiles launched and flew without trouble but the system's sea-based X-band radar did not perform as expected and the interceptor missed its target.
The statement says officials from the Missile Defense Agency that conducted the test will conduct an extensive investigation to determine the cause of the failure.

DENVER --- The Air Force Academy has set aside an outdoor worship area for Pagans, Wiccans, Druids and other Earth-centered believers, school officials said Monday.
A double circle of stones atop a hill on the campus near Colorado Springs has been designated for the group, which previously met indoors.

| Ned writes "The 50th anniversary of the convening of the initial OTS Class - 60A will occur this coming November. As a member of this class, I have been attempting to find fellow classmates. 48 others have been located, 15 have died and 25 are still "missing". Of that missing number, not a one of the twelve women (WAF in those days) has been located.
I would appreciate any help in locating members of this class. We are proud of our heritage and wish to reestablish those friendships of 60A!
